Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:

  • Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand hiring needs for Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and related technical roles.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, referrals, etc.) to attract passive and active candidates.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for key technical roles (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, etc.).
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, from job posting to offer acceptance.

Candidate Screening & Evaluation:

  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Use technical interview frameworks and collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate candidates’ proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
  • Administer technical assessments and coordinate coding challenges for data-related roles.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, team leads, and senior leadership to continuously align on talent requirements and progress.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding recruitment status, candidate pipelines, and market insights.

Data-Driven Recruitment:

  • Utilize recruitment analytics to track key performance metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience.
  • Use data insights to refine sourcing strategies and improve overall recruitment processes.

Employer Branding:

  • Promote [Company Name] as an employer of choice for top-tier data engineering and analytics talent.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create engaging content and initiatives that highlight the company’s culture and opportunities within the data and tech fields.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data engineering, analytics, and technology recruitment.
  • Continuously refine and optimize recruitment processes to enhance the candidate experience and hiring efficiency.

 

 

Education and Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • 5-9 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a focus on Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, or related technical domains.
  • Strong understanding of the tech stack used in data engineering and analytics
  • Proven ability to attract and engage top technical talent in a competitive market.
  • Experience in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
